Alf Svindland was a loom builder in his youth in Norway.  After a long career in the U.S. as a woodworker and cabinet builder, Alf retired to the Lake of the Ozarks area in central Missouri and began harvesting the native hardwood trees on his land, sawing lumber for sale and building his new house together with his wife Janet.  Alf is now handcrafting fine weaving tools from these native hardwoods.  He has begun with stick shuttles but will be adding new products in the future, so check back often.
