Equipment and supplies
www.halcyonyarn.com : My other favorite mail-order source for all supplies, with a great staff. Located in Maine, they are farther from me than Yarnbarn, so lower shipping costs make me favor the latter, but I have gotten wonderful service and products from both.
www.hillcreekfiberstudio.com : Carol Leigh's studio and workshop in Columbia, MO is a full-service shop, featuring her triangle looms as well as supplies of all sorts and many excellent workshops throughout the year.
www.paradisefibers.net : Another good full-service supplier.
www.kbbspin.org : The Spinners' and Weavers' Housekeeping pages are maintained by Kate Bruce and her family. This invaluable site features used equipment, books, magazines, fiber, and other fiber-related items to buy and sell. I highly recommend it!
www.yarnbarn-ks.com : My favorite mail-order source for all supplies, they also have a large and well-stocked store in Lawrence, KS, with very knowledgeable staff. Their mill-end club mails out sample sheets of special sale yarns several times a year-- a boon for people like me who have no nearby weaving/spinning store.
Online Resources
http://www.wsd.org.uk/ : The Association of Guilds for fiber artists in the United Kingdom.
http://www.cs.arizona.edu/patterns/weaving/books.html : The University of Arizona's huge collection of books, articles and other documents now in the public domain, available to download.
www.handweaving.net : A wonderful resource of downloadable weaving drafts, the Griswold collection of weaving and spinning documents, and CDs of drafts and documents, as well as a gallery of weaving that users have made from the archival drafts.
